With the pace of technological progress, the nature of work and industry is undergoing a complete transformation. Gadgets, products, tools and techniques that were widely used even a few years ago have now passed into the realm of history. History Tomorrow is a visual platform to catalogue products and processes of industry and work from the medieval to the modern.
The goal of History Tomorrow is to deepen our knowledge of the history of work and industry and at the same time motivate people to ask questions pertaining to the present, and delve into the implications of technological change in the future. We can make sense, and anticipate the future, from an understanding of the past. Although the purpose of History Tomorrow is not to provide answers on the future of industry and work, it is to inspire us to look back and realize that change is the only constant.
History Tomorrow accepts submissions including objects, photographs, photo-essays and short videos from the public-at-large on products, processes and themes relevant to this endeavour.
